Terms of Service
By using CitApp you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Using the service
CitApp is a tool for generating citations and organising research sources. You may use it for lawful, personal and academic purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the final citations you submit in your work — always check generated references against your institution's requirements.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be old enough to consent to data processing in your country.
Free and Pro plans
The free plan allows a limited number of sources per week. Pro removes that limit and unlocks additional features. Plan details and pricing are described on the pricing page and may change over time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse the service, including attempting to disrupt it, access other users' data, scrape it at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
No warranty
CitApp is provided "as is". While we work hard to fetch accurate metadata and format citations correctly, we cannot guarantee every generated citation is perfect. You are responsible for verifying references before submission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CitApp is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including academic consequences of incorrect citations.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CitApp after changes means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
